Dramatic video shows police officers shooting beanbag rounds at a man outside a Chase bank while responding to a bomb threat in downtown Los Angeles.

In a video recorded by witness Paul Bortoli, the man is seen reaching into a suitcase and throwing several pieces of paper just before the officers moved in and fired. Police later confirmed the use of non-lethal ammunition in the incident.

Subsequent video from Sky5 seems to show the same man, shirtless and handcuffed, being examined by firefighter-paramedics and police before being placed on a stretcher in a seated position.
