On Sunday (30), a video circulating on social media shows the moment when a man – not yet identified – invades a lioness's enclosure. The unusual situation occurred this morning at the Arruda Câmara Zoobotanical Park, in João Pessoa-PB.

In the images, the man appears clinging to a tree trunk inside the enclosure and, as he slides down the object, the animal also approaches him. As soon as he hits the ground, branches from other trees sway in the background, indicating a possible attempt to break free from the lioness.

The video also shows two other moments before the invasion occurred: the man 'climbing' the fence above the enclosure and the animal lying near the glass that separates it from the public. In the background of the scenes, people who were at the scene at the time of the incident comment on the man's actions.

In a statement, the Arruda Câmara Zoobotanical Park claims that the man invaded the area suddenly, preventing any attempt to stop the attack. Furthermore, the area where the mammal is kept has a protective wall over 6 meters high and security fences.

According to reports, the man died due to the severity of his injuries. The park is now closed for investigation.
