A 33-year-old man died at Bely Ugol railway station in Yessentuki on March 15 after being electrocuted while on the roof of a train, according to the Western Interregional Transport Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee.

The train was traveling from Kislovodsk to Mineralnye Vody when the incident occurred. Authorities have not yet clarified why the man climbed onto the train's roof. A preliminary investigation is underway.

Yessentuki Mayor Vladimir Krutnikov also reported the man’s death on Telegram. In the comments, a user claimed that the victim was "burned to death within two minutes." Another person wrote, "My daughter was on this train, and she is still in shock."
