Shelby County, TN - Shelby County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying a man who shot a man during an attempted robbery near Atoka.

It happened at the Country Market on Austin Peay Highway on April 18 at around 7 p.m.

Deputies released surveillance video from the gas station showing a man in a ski mask fighting with a store employee.

Deputies say the employee was leaving the store as the would-be robber was going inside. The employee grabbed for the gun and both men started wrestling to get possession of the weapon.

During the struggle, the suspect pulled the trigger on his rifle and shot the victim in the shoulder.

The victim was not seriously injured.

The suspect got into a small sedan driven by another person of interest.
