A couple was murdered on Tuesday night (15), in the city of Tauá , in the interior of Ceará. They were shot dead in front of the house where they lived, in the Maravilha subdivision.According to police information, José Leandro Ferreira Mota, 23, and Maria Solange Oliveira, 33, were arriving home when they were intercepted and shot by two men on a motorcycle.The woman died at the scene, and her partner was taken to the Dr. Alberto Feitosa Lima Regional Hospital, but did not survive. In addition to the gunshots, the criminals hit Maria Solange with blows from stones.According to the Public Security Department, initial investigations indicate that the motive for the crime was related to the victims' involvement in drug trafficking in the region. The woman had a history of drug trafficking, association with drug trafficking, drug use and corruption of minors; while the man was charged with robbery and corruption of minors.The victims' bodies were sent to the IML in Tauá. The suspects of the crime fled and have not yet been identified.Teams from the Military Police, Civil Police and Forensic Experts were at the scene carrying out the initial searches. A revolver and a small amount of drugs were found in the victims' home.
