Port St. Lucie, FL - A Port St. Lucie man is accused of lighting a bouncer on fire, causing severe burns Sunday night, police said.Ivan Louis Rodriguez, 45, was kicked out of Neelys Grog House earlier that evening after he failed to pay his tab, according to Port. St. Lucie police Sgt. Frank Sabol. Rodriguez was trying to pay with a check, but the bar owners said his checks have bounced in the past.He then tried to make money at the pool table to pay the tab and was subsequently kicked out.Rodriguez returned later and poured a cup of gasoline on the bouncer, who then chased him into the parking lot. During the scuffle, Rodriguez ignited a lighter that caused the bouncers clothes to go up in flames.The bouncer sustained severe burns throughout his body to include arms, face and chest. He was taken to a burn unit in Miami.
