The officers found out that the young man was riding on the roof of an electric train with the Nizhegorodskaya-Petushki service. According to the police, the deceased lived in the Moscow region with his father, was on preventive registration and had previously been repeatedly taken to the police for committing administrative offences.

“Based on the fact, the Eastern Investigative Department opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport, which resulted in the death of a person through negligence),” the press service noted.
