A serious traffic accident occurred late Sunday afternoon (20) and resulted in the death of a young motorcyclist in the rural area of Feira Grande, a municipality located in the Agreste region of Alagoas. The collision occurred on the AL-485 highway, near the town of Padre Cícero.According to information from the Highway Police Battalion (BPRv), the victim was identified as Cícero Henrique Lúcio dos Santos, 22 years old. He was riding a Honda CG 160 Fan motorcycle when, for reasons still unclear, he lost control of the steering wheel, invaded the wrong side of the road and collided violently with an electricity pole off the road.The impact of the crash was fatal. The young man did not survive his injuries and was confirmed dead at the scene by a team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU). Cícero was from Feira Grande and, according to the police, did not have a National Driver's License (CNH).The first team to arrive at the scene was the Feira Grande Integrated Public Security Center (CISP) garrison, commanded by 3rd Sergeant Nunes. The officers cordoned off the accident area and called experts from the Criminalistics Institute (IC) and the Legal Medical Institute (IML), who performed the forensic procedures and recovered the body.Also according to the Highway Police report, the section where the accident occurred has a double yellow continuous lane, indicating no overtaking. The situation suggests that the motorcyclist was traveling in the Feira Grande–Arapiraca direction when he lost control of the vehicle.
