A 33-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly punched a CityLink bus driver in the face on Saturday, March 30.

Eric Anderson, of Peoria, has been charged with aggravated battery to a transit employee.

25News obtained video from CityLink of the assault that occurred around 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 30.

The video shows Anderson getting on the bus before walking to the back to sit down. Moments later, a verbal altercation transpired between Anderson and the bus driver. The 33-year-old then made his way back to the front of the bus and started yanking on the protective barrier before punching the bus driver in the face.
