A resident of Mikhailovsk was sentenced to 13 years for attempted murder of one friend and causing grievous bodily harm to another

In June 2022, a 41-year-old man met his acquaintance on Polevodcheskaya Street in Stavropol, with whom they had quarreled the day before. The malefactor began to beat the familiar hands and feet on a body and a head. As a result, a 55-year-old man lost sight in his left eye.

On the same day, on Prigorodnaya Street, the convict met another acquaintance, with whom he was also in a quarrel. The attacker inflicted 9 stab wounds on the man and beat him with his feet. Thanks to timely medical assistance, the 50-year-old victim was saved. Now his health is not in danger.

During the trial, the attacker denied his guilt, but the investigators collected a sufficient evidence base.

The man will serve the first 3 years in prison, and the remaining 10 years in a special regime correctional colony. Also, the man received an additional punishment in the form of restriction of freedom for 1.5 years, according to the Investigative Committee of the ICR for the Investigative Committee.
