A violent assault that affected a man on the Concepción staircase, Valparaíso commune, is being viralized on social networks.

The incident occurred on May 19, where it can be seen that five young people approach a man who was passing through the sector. To achieve his goal, the criminals beat the victim who resisted handing over his belongings.

As reported by Major Rodney Marin Vera, Commissioner of the 8th Florida Police Station, he indicated that the complaint by the victim was not made, so the invitation is to carry out the corresponding procedure to find the perpetrators.

"After reviewing the database of this Police Station, like the others in Valparaíso, there is no record of this criminal act. This is why it is important to file a complaint about these situations, in this way we have knowledge about the certain sectors in which that crimes are being committed, as well as, is the initial starting point to begin an investigation with the Public Ministry to reach the perpetrators of this fact," he said.
