Security camera footage recorded the moment a 23-year-old woman was shot dead at a gas station in the early hours of Thursday (11), in Ilhéus , in the south of Bahia. The man who appears in the images firing the shots was not arrested.

The authorship and motivation of the crime will be investigated by the Ilhéus police station.

In the video it is possible to see that Fernanda dos Santos Pereira is bent down and a man approaches her with a gun in his hand. Then he kicks the young woman.

After the attack, the two begin to argue and Fernanda slaps the man. He retaliates and starts attacking her.

The suspect manages to immobilize the victim and fires shots at him. There are other people at the gas station watching, but no one stopped the attacks.

Fernanda was rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and taken to Costa do Cacau Hospital, but she did not survive her injuries. There is no information about burial.
