SHOCKING video footage has emerged of the moment a motorcycle passenger was flung up into the air when the bike he was travelling on smashed into a stationary car on a motorway.

The clip shows the devastating moment of impact as the bike's passenger is thrown over the car before tumbling onto the road at least 65 feet away.

The horrifying crash happened on the Seletar Expressway in Singapore.

The motorcycle can be seen weaving in and out of traffic as it tries to get past another slower car.

But as the rider switches lanes he fails to spot the stationary car, which had reportedly broken down, in the outside lane.

The driver was also thrown from the bike, landing at the rear of the white car.
