The Sixth Corporate Criminal Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Huamanga has been carrying out urgent acts in the framework of the investigation that follows Rafael Vilcatoma Arone, accused of the alleged commission of the crime against life, body and health, in the homicide modality. qualified, to the detriment of Abraham Lucana Huarcaya.

Provincial Deputy Prosecutor Diana Del Pilar Rondinel Agreda explained that the events occurred on September 6, around 3:00 p.m. According to the initial investigations, Rafael Vilcatoma Arone, 20, fired two gas canisters at the head of Abraham Lucana Huarcaya, who was crouching on his back.

This event would have occurred up to seven times, inside a gas cylinder distributor, located in the Covadonga human settlement in the district of Ayacucho. The lifeless body of the 44-year-old victim was found by the owner of the premises around 6:00 p.m. on the same day.

After his commission, Vilcatoma Arone fled the scene, being located and arrested hours later by agents of the National Police of Peru inside a house in the aforementioned sector, to later be transferred to the police headquarters.

It is necessary to indicate that the attack was registered by the security camera of the indicated establishment.

Within this context, the representative of the Public Prosecutor's Office directed the proceedings of home verification and fiscal verification at the scene of the events. Likewise, in the course of the hours, the rest of the actions will be carried out to collect the essential elements to request the corresponding preventive detention.
