A hydrometallurgist died at an alumina plant in the Leningrad Region. The tragedy occurred the night before in Pikalevo. Fontanka learned about this on June 30.According to preliminary data, the 19-year-old youth was cleaning the railway tracks at the wagon unloading site. At some point, he felt unwell and fell on the edge of the limestone feed bin. Due to convulsions, his body slid into the six-meter bin and was thrown along the conveyor belt into the crushing plant. As a result, the young man received injuries incompatible with life. The doctors who arrived confirmed his death.It has been established that the bunker has no fences on the unloading side; an inspection is being conducted.
