Edimilton Guedes Pereira, also known as 'Pelé', 60 years old, was the victim of robbery in the port area of ​​Manacapuru, in the metropolitan region of Manaus. The victim was a lookout at the site, and according to the police, he would have been beaten to death by a pair, still unidentified.

According to what the investigators found, one of the criminals would have distracted the victim, while the other would have approached from behind and dealt several sticks to the head of the watchman, who died at the scene. After the crime, the suspects fled taking the belongings, including the firearm, used by the victim, in the safety of commercial establishments.

Edimilton was a well-known figure in the port area of ​​Manacapuru, working for over 20 years as a watchman for the local businesses.

Shortly after the crime, the Manacapuru Police Station began the investigative work, and is evaluating the surveillance camera images of the businesses.
