A female police officer was thrown into the path of the Metrobús at the Canal de San Juan station on Line 2, in Iztapalapa by a homeless individual. According to initial reports, the aggressor has already been arrested and is being investigated for the crime of attempted femicide , according to authorities."For this reason, the subject was arrested and presented to the public ministry, where an investigation was initiated for the crime of attempted femicide," reads the statement published by X's Metrobús account.The attack occurred on the morning of November 30 inside the station, when the man was sitting on the bench in front of the police officer who was standing making a phone call on the boarding and exit platform of the Metrobús.The man then runs away from the station and three women who witnessed what happened shout for help from the police. Seconds later, the driver of the vehicle is apparently seen running away to catch up with the attacker.Metrobús is monitoring the health of an officer who was injured in an incident at the Canal de San Juan station on Line 2 in Iztapalapa .
