A man identified by the initials P. M. S., 59 years old, died brutally after being run over by a semi-truck on the afternoon of Monday, May 5, on the BR-230 highway in Campina Grande, in the Agreste region of Paraíba. The accident occurred around 4:50 p.m., at kilometer 147 of the highway, heading towards João Pessoa.

According to information gathered at the scene, the victim was riding a motorcycle when he lost control, started swerving on the road, crashed into the guardrail and fell onto the road. He was then hit by the semi-truck. His body was trapped under the vehicle, with his head under one of the tires.

The PRF is investigating the causes of the accident, including the possibility of excessive speed or the influence of substances on the part of those involved.

The body was taken to the Institute of Scientific Police, where it will undergo autopsy examinations.
