In Rajkishore Nagar of Sarkanda, the cow picked up the old man walking on the road and threw it into the drain. Due to this he died on the spot. The police, who reached the information about the body found in the drain, started its investigation. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the nearby house. Omprakash Singh (90), a resident of Rajkishorenagar Sunflower Sector of Sarkanda, was a retired employee. His daughter-in-law is a teacher and son is the principal in a private school. On Wednesday morning both left for their work. At the same time, Omprakash Singh went to the post office for some work. After finishing the work from there, he was returning home on foot. Two or three cows were standing on the road in the colony itself. Omprakash was walking from the side of the cattle. During this, some things fell out of his hands. He bent down to pick up the things. After this, as soon as they started walking, the cow standing behind picked them up and threw them in the drain on the roadside. Due to this the old man died on the spot. There was no traffic on the road during the incident. Because of this no one could get information about it. After a while someone saw the dead body in the drain and informed the people around. After the identification of the dead body, the relatives were also informed about it. The police, who reached the information of the incident, took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. On the apprehension of falling into the drain due to a collision with a vehicle, the police took out the footage of the CCTV cameras installed nearby. In this, it was confirmed that the cow fell into the drain after killing it. The police have also taken footage of the CCTV camera. After the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the relatives.
