Moradabad: Youth shot dead in broad daylight, incident captured in CCTV

Moradabad, Amrit Vichar. A 22-year-old youth was shot dead in broad daylight in Thakurdwara town on Sunday. Sensation spread in Thakurdwara town due to Sarerah murder. Agitated by the incident, the mob blocked the road. There is anger among the people due to the audacious incident. The crowd protested by jamming. The police team under the leadership of SSP Hemraj Meena is trying to get to the bottom of the incident. The situation in the town is tense but under control.

Vishal (25) son Mukesh, a resident of Balmiki Basti in Thakurdwara, had left the house to collect the goods at around 11 am on Sunday. After leaving the house, the young man was heading towards the neighborhood shop. Then there was another young man with him. The miscreants, already ambushed, chase Vishal. While walking, an attacker came from behind and opened fire on the young man with a pistol.

After shooting, the miscreant fled from the spot. The young man fell on the road after being shot first in the back and then in the chest. Hearing the sound of the bullet, the people of the locality came out of their houses. Amidst the cries, the family members also came to the spot. In a hurry, Vishal was taken to a private hospital in Kashipur. The young man died there shortly after. With the help of angry family members and local people, they blocked the road.

As soon as the ruckus started, the police also came. Arpit Kapoor by CO Thakur was engaged in persuading the family members. After some time SSP Hemraj Meena reached the spot. High police officials assured the victim's family that the attackers would be arrested soon. The dead body has been sent to the post mortem house. Senior Superintendent of Police said that a young man named Bilal is accused of killing Vishal. Five police teams have been formed to arrest him. The police will soon arrest the accused of murder.
