Tied up and set on fire in the scrubland: Yanis,aged19, from Tremblay-en-France, two arrested in Nîmes

Two people, including a man from the Gard region targeted by a €150,000 contract, were arrested in drug trafficking cases opened prior to the discovery on Tuesday of a 19-year-old burned to death in the scrubland in the Nîmes countryside.

According to our information, two people have been arrested in drug trafficking investigations opened prior to the death of the alleged young dealer and have been handed over to the Specialized Organized Crime Divisions (DCOS, formerly the PJ) of Nîmes and Montpellier (Hérault).

These two suspects, one of whom is believed to be a drug dealer well-known to the police, are believed to be linked to the shootings of recent weeks. The return match allegedly led to the murder of a 19-year-old man, found self-immolated Tuesday evening on a road in Saint-Bénézet, a small village located about thirty kilometers from Nîmes.
