An off-duty military police officer reacted to an attempted robbery in the Casa Verde neighborhood, North Zone of São Paulo , on Thursday night (9), and two suspects were shot dead.

Security camera footage captured the moment when two motorcyclists approached the policewoman around 9:15 PM. She drew her weapon and fired at the suspects on Maria Medeiros Street, near number 55. At least seven shots were fired.

According to preliminary information, one of them died at the scene and the other was rescued but also succumbed to his injuries.

The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat reported that the case was registered with the DHPP (Department of Homicide and Protection of Persons) as attempted robbery, vehicle seizure, and death resulting from police intervention. The motorcycles and weapons of those involved were seized, and forensic experts were called in.
