On Friday 11-28-14 at 11:11 am, an employee, a 22 year-old male, of Jacquez Grocery Store located at 6001 Baltimore Avenue was inside when an unknown male entered the store armed with a knife demanding money. When the employee attempted to stop the suspect from entering the register area, he was cut on his right hand with the suspects knife. After a failed attempt at obtaining money, the suspect fled and was last seen west on Baltimore Avenue. The employee was transported Mercy ER for a laceration to his right hand.
