Belo Horizonte, Brazil: A man attacked his ex-partner and then took his own life near Avenida Portugal, in the Pampulha region of Belo Horizonte, on Saturday afternoon. The forensics team and the Civil Police coroner's van were called.

Unhappy with the end of the relationship and with a protective order that prevented him from approaching his ex-partner, the man went to the woman's house in the Copacabana neighborhood, also in the Pampulha region, hit her in the head with a gun butt, shot at the house and sped off in a vehicle.

The car was located by police on Avenida Portugal. The man was found lying next to the vehicle, already dead. A firearm was also found at the scene.

The Metropolitan Tactical Patrol Battalion (ROTAM) is responding to the case. The incident is still ongoing.
