A miserable lady fell to her death in the Indonesian airport, after getting stuck in the elevator. She felt confused when the doors remained closed, but failed to notice that the doors behind her opened. Instead of thinking rationally, she panicked and called her niece to tell her that she was trapped. She manually opened the doors and fell into the hole. Her body was discovered three days later by a technician, who checked the bottom after the airport staff were alerted about a foul smell. Her family proceeded to sue the airport for this incident. They claimed that it did not meet the safety standards, and that in no way should it be possible for the elevator doors to be opened manually by force.
