Bhusawal, Maharashtra - Wanjola Chowk in Bhusawal town of Jalgaon district has emerged as a major accident-prone spot, with as many as 10 road accidents reported in the last one month alone. Local residents have dubbed the intersection a “death trap” due to the rising number of crashes. According to preliminary findings, the accidents are mainly caused by several unauthorised access points that allow vehicles to enter and exit the chowk illegally, leading to chaotic traffic movement. CCTV footage obtained by the police clearly shows vehicles blatantly violating traffic rules, with many drivers using these unauthorised entry and exit points.
