Businessman William Garzón, son of the deceased former Alianza País assemblyman, William Garzón Ricaurte , was shot this Thursday, August 11, 2022, on a corner of La Lorena Avenue , in Santo Domingo.

According to information from local media, the victim would have received several bullet wounds in the head , for which he was taken to the IESS hospital in critical condition.

The attack occurred just after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. In a video captured by security cameras in the sector, the victim can be seen standing on a sidewalk when she was shot .
