SAN DIEGO — Three adults are dead after a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego on Monday, and the two suspects were found dead, in what police are investigating as a possible hate crime.Law enforcement swarmed the center around 11:40 a.m. and cleared the complex, which includes a school and is located in the Clairemont neighborhood.Officials said at a news conference that three men were found dead at the center, one of whom was a security guard.The two alleged shooters, 17 and 18, were found dead in a vehicle several blocks away, and at least one had apparently fatally shot themselves, officials said. Before their deaths, the shooters reportedly fired at a landscaper, although that person was not injured.None of the victims or suspects has been identified.The Islamic Center’s imam said all students and staff were safe, and that the center would be closed the rest of the day.
