A man attacked a military police officer with a knife in the early hours of Friday (20) in Gurupi, in the south of the state. The PM was in uniform and eating in a cafeteria. After a physical struggle, the suspect was injured and died. The entire fight was recorded by a security camera.

Initially, the soldier was also injured during the confusion, but there is still no information about his health status. g1 requested information about the case from the Military Police and is awaiting a response .

In the video posted on social media, you can see the soldier with a snack in his hands.

The suspect approaches, takes a knife from his waist and holds it on the soldier's belt, who falls to the ground and begins to fight to avoid being stabbed. Other men who were at the scene approached and the group managed to restrain the criminal.

Soon after, the soldier gets up with the gun in his hand and apparently injured. The suspect begins to bleed and dies at the scene. His body was taken to the Gurupi Legal Medical Institute.

The PM was taken to the hospital and has already been discharged.
