For information, this was a semifinal match of the European Volleyball Championship in 2011 between Russia and Serbia. The tight match went into the final set between both teams, and Serbia had a match point at 14-13. The score had to be 14-14, but the blind referee did not notice that the ball touched the block and the point was wrongly awarded to Serbia. Consequently, Russia unfairly lost the match.

If this happened against Ukraine, Putin would have used this incident as propaganda against it. Just think how different it would have been.
