A 59-year-old motorcycle taxi driver was killed with 13 stab wounds in the city center of Assaré , in the interior of Ceará, on Sunday afternoon (24). A security camera captured the crime.

The victim was on a public road, near his motorcycle, when he was attacked from behind by another man. Upon receiving the first blow, the motorcycle taxi driver fell, while the suspect continued to hit him. The criminal then fled.

The Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (SSPDS) reported that the Military Police were called and carried out the initial investigations into the case. The case is being handled by the Municipal Police Station of Assaré, which is searching for the suspect.
