During an isolated incident in Stuart on Monday, May 15, 2023, three Stuart officers were confronted with a volatile situation. This certainly could have been a tragic event.

Carrell Gallon pulled a firearm from his waistband as officers stood nearby another person, who was unarmed. Gallon's focus was on the other person as he attempted to escalate a verbal dispute. Gallon was instructed several times by the three officers to drop his gun, and he complied. Gallon was apprehended, and the firearm was retrieved without further incident.

Gallon was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer with a Deadly Weapon and Improper Exhibition of a Firearm.
