woman identified as Laecilda Barral Coelho was hit by gunshots on the night of last Sunday (14), in front of a bar, located at the intersection of Travessa São Benedito and Avenida Perimetral, Primavera neighborhood, in Cametá, in the northeast of Pará.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred during a generalized disturbance outside the establishment. The Civil Police (PC) reports that it is investigating the crime of attempted femicide through the police station in that municipality.

According to the PC, the victim was rescued and taken to the Cametá Regional Hospital (HRC), where he underwent surgery and is not at risk of death. The main suspect in the crime is the bar's security guard, whose name has not been released and is being sought by the police.

Images circulating on social media show the security guard initially hitting a man with his baton who was talking to him in his ear. The situation led to a major commotion, in which Laecilda Barral Coelho was allegedly shot.
