A number of jihadi fighters were killed and injured in the northern town of Abtaa, Darra province as the Syrian Army blew up a building they were using as a safe house.

According to a military source, army units managed to spot a group of militants from the al-Qaeda-linked Jabhet Fateh al-Sham (formerly Jabhet al-Nusra) who were recurrently showing in the house.

"The army units then booby-trapped the house and later detonate it once the militants were spotted inside", he added.
