NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A pair of Philadelphia Housing Authority high rises, that had become a symbol of urban decay, came down Saturday morning.

At 7:25 a.m. the two 18-story high rises at the Norman Blumberg Apartments came crashing down.

Philadelphia Housing Authority officials say the implosion went very smoothly, with no issues reported.
