Horrifying footage has emerged showing the terrifying moment a supercar lost control and plowed into a crowd of spectators at a rally in Malta.

Onlookers are heard screaming in horror as they watch the car lose control on the track before suddenly spinning towards the crowd watching from the sidelines.

People jump up off their seats in an attempt to avoid the oncoming vehicle but more than two dozen spectators had nowhere to run as the car spun wildly across the tarmac.
