A surveillance camera recorded the murder of an employee of a nightclub in Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios, by a Peruvian marine.

Alberto Flores Balarezo Samuel was standing at the club doorway when the marine shot him in the head.

Witnesses said the marine was drunk and was ejected from the premises with his friend, then returned carrying a gun.

The murderer, Petty Officer third FAP William Damian Velasquez, tried to flee after pulling the trigger, but was soon arrested.
