A man is in jail today after attempting to ambush a police officer during a traffic stop. The vehicle was initially pulled over for not having license plates. While talking with the driver, the officer noticed unusual sounds coming from the trunk. Upon investigating further the trunk suddenly opens and a man tries to lunge out. The officer quickly reacts and tackles the suspect to the ground.

Police later identify the suspect as Jesse Harrell, a man wanted by police on various charges. The driver turned out to be the suspect's mother, who was trying to hide her son from police. Harrell now faces addition charges including battery, and obstructing a police officer.
