A 68-year-old man, Carlos Alberto Martínez Lozano, decided to end his life by shooting himself in the head outside the Mall Plaza Miraflores Shopping Center in Tegucigalpa. Before the incident, the man was with his brother, identified as Juan Alberto Lozano, spending time together inside the mall. After leaving the mall, the deceased man—who reportedly suffered from depression—told his brother that he wanted to read him Psalm 35 from the Bible, a Bible that his brother had given him and which he always carried with him.
