The newly-formed Revolutionary Communists of America (RCA) held their first congress in Philadelphia kicking off the establishment of their American chapter of the Revolutionary Communists.

The RCA members, around 500 of them, marched through the streets of Philadelphia, wearing red t-shirts and waving flags with the hammer and sickle symbol.
