MERCED, Califonia. — New video shows a group of thieves shatter glass display cases at a jewelry store inside Merced Mall before taking off with stolen goods.

Merced Police responded to Merced Mall just before 1pm Tuesday for a disturbance involving a group of 10 to 15 male juveniles and adults.

Officials say the group showed up to the mall with masks, and smashed the jewelry cases at Prestigio Jewelers with hammers before taking off with stolen merchandise.

The total value of the jewelry that was stolen is unclear at this time.

No one was injured during the incident.
