A postie dressed in high-vis and Lycra-clad cyclist have gone viral after they were captured in a wild brawl on the side of a suburban street on the Gold Coast.

Codey Lamos posted the video to TikTok which has been viewed almost one million times, showing the cyclist punch the side of the postie’s van.

This prompts the postie to approach the bike rider and ask him what he’s doing saying to the man, “I don’t want to fight.”

“You f … ing threw your phone at me,” the cyclist responds, squaring up to the postie.

As the postie tries make a getaway, the bike rider slams the van door against the postie, seeing the postie jump out of his vehicle throwing an object at the cyclist before he can be seen throwing punches.

Many people have commented on the video, with one saying, “I know the postie came out on top but I still feel bad for him. No one should be treated like this at work.”

“I feel like postie was really trying hard not to let his inner mortal combat out but for a few moments there it was evident, this wasn’t his first fight,” another wrote.
