After attempting to invade the seat of government of the Federal District (DF) in Brazil,and keep a woman hostage,a man armed with a knife was arrested in the early afternoon of Tuesday.

The action lasted about 40 minutes and ended after the hijacker was shot by military police with a rubber bullet in the leg. According to Folha de S. Paulo, Robson da Silva Matias, 33, an unemployed driver, was also hit by a taser shooting (weapon of non-lethal electric shock) in the neck.
