Dramatic video shows an employee being nearly run over as he tried to stop a robbery at cellphone store in Santa Ana earlier this month.

Police released video of the getaway Thursday in hopes of identifying the driver and the man who ran out of the Cell Spot store on South Bristol Street with a phone on Aug. 4.

“Now these subjects are looking at robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run … If he’s willings to ram into innocent victims, I’m sure they would have been willing to run over a pedestrian,” Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.
