It has been preliminarily established that the 36-year-old driver of a Ducati motorcycle was moving along Budyonny Street from the Kuban Embankment towards Krasnaya Street at an unsafe speed.

He drove past the intersection with Kirov Street, ignoring the “No stopping” sign, and crashed into a tram, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Krasnodar Krai reported.

As a result, the motorcyclist died from his injuries before the ambulance arrived.

An investigation is being conducted into the accident.
