The traffic officer was processing an accident involving a 49-year-old woman driving a carsharing vehicle and asked her to simply move the car to the side of the road. But in a panic, she hit the gas and pinned the officer against another car.

The 46-year-old policeman suffered severe injuries — there is a risk that he will never be able to walk again. According to the woman, she "got nervous and mixed up the pedals."
