Brentwood, TN - A police officer in Brentwood, Tennessee, took drastic measures to save lives.

Dash cam video shows Officer Cliff Thompson handling an alleged speeding wrong-way driver on Interstate 65 last week.

Police say Officer Thompson blocked off a section of the highway. The video shows him heading straight toward the wrong-way car, ramming his cruiser into it head on to stop the driver.

Both the officer and the other driver were treated for minor injuries. According to police, that driver was identified as Sandra Sharpe, of Nashville, and charges are pending.
