According to preliminary information from the police, the woman went out with her partner, also Haitian, a few days ago, but never returned home. Her partner, on the other hand, did return alone, which aroused the neighbors' suspicions and led to her arrest by the authorities.

The victim was appreciated and loved by his compatriots, who demand that the authorities do justice and that the person or persons responsible be brought to justice.
