military policeman, who was in plain clothes, reacted to an attempted robbery that he suffered last Saturday night (7) at a fuel station, located in the Aviação neighborhood, in the municipality of Abaetetuba, in the northeast region of Pará. The crime was recorded by monitoring cameras installed at the scene.

In the images, we observe the victim inside the car, waiting for the attendant to close the supply service. Then the suspect approaches on a motorcycle. Without ceremony, he pulls out his gun and approaches the gas station attendant, who walks away, making room for the policeman who was inside the car.

Upon realizing the suspect's action, the officer shoots. Desperate, the man drops the gun on the ground and tries to flee, but falls with the motorcycle. With caution, the policeman gets out of the car and starts the standard approach procedure.

The suspect was identified as Alcinei da Costa Ribeiro. He was found injured and lying on the ground by the soldiers who were later called to the scene. A team from the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was activated and provided the first assistance to the suspect, who was sent to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Abaetetuba.

A simulacrum of a black pistol, R$55 in cash, a telephone set and a black motorcycle with no license plate were seized from Alcinei. According to the Military Police security system, Alcinei was under house arrest.
