Ananda Batista de Souza, 19, died this Saturday morning (26) in a serious traffic accident in the municipality of Parintins (369 kilometers from Manaus). The victim was riding a motorcycle on Rua 03, Paulo Corrêa neighborhood, in that municipality, when he crashed into a pole while trying to avoid another motorcycle.

Due to the strong collision, Ananda did not resist and died instantly. A young woman identified as Evelyn Tavares, 19 years old, who was on the back of the motorcycle, was rescued and taken to a hospital in the city in serious condition.

Security cameras at the scene recorded the moment of the accident. In the images, it is possible to see a motorcyclist changing lanes on the road, at which point the two young women appear right behind him at high speed on a motorcycle. They try to avoid the motorcycle, without success, and then crash into a pole.
